My Great-grandfather

My great-grandfather posing, this portrait was taken in Chihuahua, Mexico.

My Grandfather

This is my grandfather's first photo studio. He learned photography from his dad, my great-grandfather. He pursued photography as a way to provide for his family. He opened his first studio and that little boy sitting there is my father.

My Father

My father receiving one of his first cameras. Photography is a legacy in my family. My father learned the technique from my grandfather.

Me

As a child, I grew up visiting my grandfather's photography studio. I can still remember the smell of the chemicals as I sat on the counter of his darkroom watching him develop his film. The beauty of the prints is something I'll always remember.

I have so many of my father's and grandfather's prints, and I'm so happy to have those memories in my home. There is something so magical about a physical photograph.

When I'm not photographing, I serve my church on Sundays as a teacher in a toddler class. I've always loved working with children, and prior to pursuing a career in photography, I worked as a nanny for more than seven years. My experience allows me to work comfortably with babies and children of all ages.

I'm married to my husband Julio, and together we have three fur babies, Kodak, Nikon, and Canon. I'm a CrossFitter, bird's nest collector, antique lover, and many more hobbies.

I am looking forward to meeting you and capturing your memories that will last a lifetime.
